This site is significant as it was where the Swaminarayan sect's scripture, the "Shikshapatri," was researched and written. Originally, it was a small room which was expanded into the Shri Hari Mandap by Lord Swaminarayan. It served as a place for ascetic meditation and continues to be an important site for the sect.
