Gangajaliyo Koop

Among the many wells where Lord Swaminarayan bathed and which still have sacred water, the Gangajaliyo well is notable. In the year 1869, during a severe drought,
the well's water level was very low. However, when Lord Swaminarayan visited Vadatal from Gadpur and bathed with the well's water,

a sudden gush of water erupted from the well, filling it up. Seeing this, Lord Swaminarayan declared that due to his will, the well would never run dry again and renamed it Gangajaliyo Koo. This well is located behind the main hall of the temple.
