Ghela Hanumanji

Lord Swaminarayan first arrived in Vadatal village, located in the Charotar region of Gujarat, on the 12th day of the month of Phalgun in the year 1855, which was a Monday morning. At that time, Lord Swaminarayan was only 18 years old. When he arrived in Vadatal, he first visited the Hanumanji temple and stayed there.
During that period, a notorious bandit named Joban Vadatal came to the temple, paid his respects to Lord Swaminarayan, and offered to build a room for him if he wished to stay in the village.

After establishing himself in satsang, Lord Swaminarayan visited Vadatal 45 times. On one occasion, he visited the Hanumanji temple and also frequently bathed in the nearby tank, which is also considered sacred.
